August ticket issued for lag in computer and I suggested to look at the switch then. took a month to realize its the switch and replaced. After new tech looked at this there seemed to be no issues.

Concerning on the time frame in which it happened as we are in operation and there were major interruptions in our ability to do the job when it was required the most. When the arena is in operation we need to be able to access control systems all the times.

Unfortunately, have to give a low rating on this one as it was an entirely preventable issue, but one that keeps recurring due to not following instructions. The issue relates to not properly completing the installation or update of QuickBooks (the H505 error). The issue has arisen before multiple times and we addressed by ensuring it was documented that there was an extra step (ie updating/installing the QB Database Manager and restarting it) that needed to be completed. After we got it documented, we had a good run with the updates (ie all steps being completed and no H505 errors). However, the most recent update did not have the QB database manager updated & restarted, thus resulting in an H505 error when I tried to open our QuickBooks file this morning. It was fortunate that we didn't have a pressing deadline like payroll or a financial reporting deadline. Very much to Shaun's credit, he quickly got to work on it and solved the problem otherwise this would have been somewhere between 1 - 3.
