I appreciate them both spending time on the system to try to update it and speed it up. I understand the need for a new system, because this one is 10 years old. I am wondering if we added memory (via a memory stick) if it might help speed it up? I don't think it's in our budget to buy a new laptop right now, so I am trying to think of "bandaids" to keep it working. Thanks.

A 7 only because it's still happening. I have found that shutting down my system (restarting) will reset it and allow me to print properly. It's just a bummer it happens.
