I very much appreciate Wayne taking another attempt to aid in a Table of Tables (for a Table of Contents) in a very large client-supplied document that had not be properly formatted when constructed. I had followed Wayne's directions from a previous service ticket request, but was still not achieving the desired result. That the recommended action from the first ticket did not result in resolution of the issue necessitating the second ticket was not a problem. It provided me with documentation to provide to my manager confirming that I had sought technical assistance. I was also able to provide the client with Wayne's recommendation for how to properly format the Table captions so autoformatting of a Table of Tables in the Table of Contents can occur in the future construction of similar documents. (At least two more similar large documents are coming my way in the next month.) I greatly appreciate Wayne's knowledge and persistence in working with me to clarify this issue, help me understand why it happened, and to teach me how to address it should it arise again.
