About Us

In 1988, CalTech started as a software development company in the garage of Bob Calabrese. When several of Calabrese’s employees left he sought out help to strengthen the CalTech brand. Enter Will Welch and Brent McCasland. Will and Brent, business graduates of Angelo State University, opened Outback Computer Service in 1995 with an investment of $600 and two credit cards! They brought along Outback Computer’s loyal customer base, strong financials, and the competitive advantage to give CalTech the boost it needed. The two companies merged in 1998, maintaining the CalTech Brand. In late 1998, Mr. Welch and Mr. McCasland assumed full ownership of the company. Since then, CalTech has experienced significant growth and continues to attract both great clients and talent to our family. CalTech has been named as one of the Best Companies to Work for in Texas for eight years running by the Texas Association of Business, the Society for Human Resource Management, and Texas Monthly.

The entire bank is having issues with Outlook...

The entire bank is having issues with Outlook and email. As I talk to Branch Managers, they tell me they call CalTech every time an employee logs onto a different computer. As for the new hire, she works on multiple computers until she is ready to run her own window. It has taken a week to get email working for Alicia. She is now in her own window.

Got all my issues solved Monday and Tuesday. It was a great team effort...talked to 3 different gentlemen over a two-week period. They stayed in constant contact with me. And Yesi followed up today to ensure the Ticket was completely resolved. Thanks for your great service.

Cody was extremely helpful and displayed a great tone on his patient and helpful voice. Cody was able to get my issue resolved very quickly and efficiently. He had to reschedule our call for next day to receive assistance from peer regarding one of the issues and as he promised returned the call next day to quickly complete the job. Very happy with the service.
