While I understand that work didn't begin immediately over the weekend, I was glad that the ticket was picked up shortly after 9:00a on Monday. However, I was not contacted regarding steps that would need to be done to troubleshoot the issue when work commenced. Shortly after the notice that the ticket was assigned, we lost our outside internet access while I can only assume that the ASA was restarted. This caused issues with our credit card processor that relies on that outbound connection as well as order submission from our sales team and our online store platform. Having known what steps needed to be taken as well as when this outage would occur would have been beneficial. That being said, it was great to have our connection restored. Following the service restoration, we were not contacted to let us know that service should be restored for confirmation. Shortly after the restoration of the services, we received an email stating that Amy was actively working on the issue. I then received a call asking to have access to one of the machines that was having issues. When I stated that it seems that Amy resolved the issue the 'restart', I was told that they would look into it and get back to me with an update. I sill did not receive a call or an update. The only 'update' I received was an invitation to take this survey. In the end, the issue was resolved relatively quickly and I am happy that Amy was able to restore services, however communication was very lacking.
