Thank you for looking into this and getting back to me so quickly. MS's status pages didn't say the auth issue was on their side but it was. MS--we don't care, we don't have to care? Anyway the Pisces VIPs during this outage were (in the words of my step daughter) "Flipping their shit" because their iPads were throwing up exchange auth errors. I could confidently tell them sorry dudes, it's on MS's side, we will keep you posted. Having an MSP who can query lots of clients quikcly, as Jon did, made it much easier to get good data about these kind of outages. I am grateful, this outage could have been a lot more stressful.
