All techs made a valiant effort to assist me at the varying levels. They were very knowledgeable and tried several appropriate things to solve the problem, but unfortunately, it turned out to not be fixable remotely. Hands-on trouble-shooting by Joel in step 3 identified a connection problem, and he made suggestions for me to try. A different type of cable did the trick. Unfortunately, a lot of time was spent on this issue due to the sporadic nature of the connection going in and out. But a solution was finally found, and I appreciate the perseverance of all tech involved. I am THRILLED to finally have a working monitor which will make things a lot easier for me!
