Having to deal with this new issue about cloud based programs to older style pc hard drive based programs, is an eye opener. Paul was able to open my awareness to understand how the cloud based way to have a program function vs direct hard drive way to run a program function , can and does lead to incompatible retaining/storage of parent files and autosaved files and program generated backup file. Basically a program such a autocad looses complete control of parent files when stored in a cloud based way and this caused issues. Similarly a program such as visio which was updated to a cloud based version can cause issues with access to locations of files for a set location path. It looks like the future means, a way to work from cloud based software programs is needed and for traditional hard drive based software programs is also needed to today's work life.
