would like to personally thank all of our loyal customers and welcome our new customers. I was born and raised in Jamesburg N.J. I grew up right across the street from where my shop is located today. I attended Jamesburg public schools, Saint Joseph's High School in Metuchen and went on to study Architecture in college.
After college I went into manufacturing, taking a job with Fisher Body, a division of General Motors Corporation. During the twelve years of my employment with Fisher Body I was given the great opportunity to work along with the engineering staff to bring a new Bi-laminate manufacturing process into production.
Seeing the growth of the automobile industry and the technical service that they require is what brought me to start my own service and repair facility in September of 1988. In 1989 we became a Delco Technician Repair Center, which today is known as AC-Delco Master Technician Service (TSS), which provides training and high quality replacement parts for all makes and all models for the growing technical service of the automobile industry.
The Master Technician Service Program keeps qualified shops up to date with the technical advances in the ever-changing automotive industry. I am an ASE Certified Master Technician including certification in advanced computer diagnostics. I am also a certified licensed N.J. State Emissions Repair Technician and certified licensed N.J. State Emissions Inspector.
As president of Platt's Performance, along with my certified and trained staff our goal is to provide High Quality Automobile Service and Repair that you can depend on today and in the future.
