About ReLoft
ReLoft provides professional loft insulation and improvement services for homeowners across the North of England. We specialise in assessing existing loft spaces and carrying out work designed to improve insulation, ventilation, storage and access.
Our services include loft insulation installation, old loft insulation removal and replacement, spray foam insulation removal, loft boarding, loft ventilation, condensation control, loft ladders and loft hatch installation.
Every job begins with a free loft health check. During the survey, we assess the existing insulation levels and condition, ventilation pathways, accessible roof timbers and moisture levels within the loft. We also consider access, the layout of the space and what the homeowner wants to achieve.
This approach is particularly important because different parts of a loft can affect each other. Adding insulation without considering ventilation, for example, can cause problems if important airflow routes around the roof are obstructed. Loft boarding also needs to be planned around the insulation underneath rather than simply compressing it beneath boards.
For new loft insulation installations, ReLoft uses Knauf Loft Roll. Existing insulation does not automatically need to be removed. We assess its condition first and recommend removal and replacement where the existing material is no longer suitable or where removal is required as part of the planned work.
We can also install raised loft boarding where appropriate, creating practical storage space while taking the insulation, ventilation and layout of the loft into account. Loft ladders and hatches can be installed to provide safer and more convenient access to the storage area.
