About verkind
verkind is a UK-wide medical cannabis telehealth clinic providing remote specialist consultations for people living with chronic pain and treatment-resistant mental health conditions. Operating as a regulated secondary care service registered with the Care Quality Commission, the clinic supports patients who have already tried conventional licensed treatments without success.
Care is delivered entirely online. Patients start with a free pre-screening eligibility check, then meet a GMC-registered specialist by secure video consultation. With the patient's permission the clinician reviews NHS records, discusses symptoms and treatment goals, and a multidisciplinary team assesses whether a personalised treatment plan is clinically appropriate.
Where treatment is approved, prescriptions are issued to a specialist pharmacy and delivered discreetly to the patient's home by tracked courier. Ongoing care includes a one-month follow-up, routine six-month reviews, repeat prescriptions through a secure patient portal, and email and phone support. Patients found ineligible for a treatment plan are refunded the consultation fee.
