About Mats Flaps 4 Cats
Mats Flaps 4 Cats provides specialist cat flap installation and professional cat flap fitting across Hampshire and West Sussex. Based in Waterlooville, we serve Portsmouth, Havant, Fareham, Emsworth, Chichester, Rowlands Castle, Petersfield, Portchester, Hayling Island, Stubbington, Hedge End, Eastleigh, Whiteley and surrounding areas. We help cat owners create convenient access through walls, doors and glazing, with a fitting solution suited to the property and their pets.
Our work focuses specifically on cat flaps and pet doors. We consider the construction of the access point, the selected product and the cat’s everyday needs before recommending an installation approach. This specialist focus covers new installations, existing cat flap replacement and upgrades to microchip or app-connected models.
We install cat flaps through brick and cavity walls, including microchip cat flap wall installations and cat flap wall tunnels. Wall fittings require consideration of the wall construction, thickness and tunnel arrangement. We assess these details to provide an appropriate route through the wall, giving owners an alternative access point where a door installation is unsuitable or less practical.
Our glazing services include cat flap installation in glass doors, double glazing and double-glazed doors. We provide bespoke replacement double-glazed units prepared for the selected cat flap, with PAS24-compliant replacement glazing where required. The existing glazing and chosen product are assessed so the replacement unit and fitting approach suit the installation.
We also fit cat flaps in suitable composite doors, uPVC doors and panels, and timber doors. Each material and door construction requires careful consideration, so we assess the fitting position, panel and product before work begins. Our range of door and panel services gives customers options beyond glass and wall installations.
For households seeking greater control over pet access, we install microchip cat flaps and microchip pet doors, including SureFlap Connect and app-controlled models. Compatible microchip products recognise authorised pets, helping reduce unwanted visits from neighbouring cats. App-connected features depend on the chosen model, allowing customers to select a product that suits their household and access requirements.
Mats Flaps 4 Cats works with popular brands including SureFlap, PetSafe, Cat Mate and Staywell. For existing cat flap replacements, we consider the current opening and replacement dimensions, whether the customer is replacing a worn unit or upgrading to a different model.
Whether you need a wall installation in Portsmouth, replacement double glazing in Chichester or a microchip cat flap in Waterlooville, contact Mats Flaps 4 Cats to discuss your property, preferred product and fitting requirements.
