About Silver River Counseling
Silver River Counseling is a group psychotherapy practice in Ocala, Florida, founded by a licensed clinical psychologist for the purpose of supporting the entire family.
People come to us when something has stopped working: a marriage that has lost its intimacy and trust, a child who has gone quiet or turned aggressive, a teenager and a parent who cannot get through a conversation, or a persistent anxiety or depression that has outlasted every attempt to manage it alone. We begin with the initial concern and then look at the patterns underneath it, because symptoms that live inside a family rarely resolve one person at a time.
That is the difference 30 years makes. Our six licensed clinicians are trained in play therapy for children as young as four, trauma work, and couples therapy, and we hold the whole family in view even when only one person is in the room.
