About First Baptist Church of Columbia
First Baptist Church of Columbia is a gospel-centered Baptist church in downtown Columbia, helping people know Jesus, grow as His disciples, and make His love known in our church, our homes, our community, and our world. We believe the gospel transforms lives and that every believer is called to grow in their faith and share the hope of Christ with others.
First Baptist offers ministries for every stage of life—from children and students to college students, young adults, families, and senior adults—along with Bible studies. Located in the heart of Columbia, South Carolina, we are passionate about serving our city and advancing Christ's Kingdom through worship, community, and the faithful teaching of God's Word.
