About DubaiLiveBands.com
DubaiLiveBands.com books live bands for weddings, corporate events, birthdays and private parties in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Sizes run from two musicians in a lounge corner to a full band with brass on a ballroom stage. Pop and rock cover bands play chart songs, classic hits, soul and funk for a dance floor. Jazz bands range from a trio for dinner to a big band for a gala. Arabic options include an oud and qanun duo, a takht ensemble, a Khaleeji band or a Lebanese pop band for dabke. Acoustic duos and trios suit smaller rooms. Latin and Afro bands, and bands that play together with a DJ, are also available.
A band usually plays two or three sets of 40 to 45 minutes. It plays softer music while guests arrive and eat, and louder songs later to get people dancing. The setlist is built around your guests, with songs in English, Arabic, Hindi, Spanish and French. Sound, a stage setup and lighting can be supplied.
An Arabic oud and qanun duo usually costs AED 3,000 to AED 5,500, and a 4 to 6 piece showband AED 15,000 to AED 28,000.
