About CODEX Engineering
CODEX Engineering was founded in 2011 as a specialty firm in fire protection, security and building code consulting and design. We bring senior, PE-licensed engineering judgment to the problems where a generic answer is not good enough – a data center or SCIF that has to pass accreditation, a battery energy storage site with no precedent in its jurisdiction, a historic building that cannot meet the code as written, or a construction dispute that turns on what the standard of care actually required.
For a wide variety of clients we serve as performance-based cutting-edge computer modeling designers, as building code consultants for AHJ equivalency negotiations, as owners' advisors, and as retained experts for legal cases or similar needs.
