About New Energy Systems Group
New Energy Systems Group, an U.S. listed Chinese company, is one of the leading manufacturers and sellers of mobile power devices, solar panels, and solar related application products for most of portable consumer electronic devices in the market. The Company operates through two of its wholly owned subsidiaries in Shenzhen, China.
Before the second half year of 2008, the Company primarily manufactured steel and aluminum battery shell and caps through its only subsidiary at that period, Shenzhen E'Jenie Technology Development Co., Ltd. Beginning from the second half year of 2008, the Company entered into new business segment to produce finished battery packs. E'Jenie was disposed in November of 2011.
In December of 2009, the Company acquired its second and major subsidiary, Shenzhen Anytone Technology Co., Ltd. Anytone primarily manufactured and sold end-user battery accessories and mobile power devices, which could be used on the most of consumer electronic devices in the market. Through this acquisition, the Company transformed itself from an OEM focus to end-users customers focus manufacturer with its own brand name, Anytone.
In January of 2010, the Company acquired its third subsidiary, Shenzhen NewPower Technology Co., Ltd. NewPower primarily manufactured battery cells and sold to other lithium ion battery manufacturers in China. Through this acquisition, the Company vertically integrated its production chain from upstream to downstream. The product offerings were broadly expanded, including battery components which could be used internally or sold to third parties, finished battery packs which could be used internally or sold to third parties, and end-user consumer electronic products which could be sold to the customer directly under our own brand name, Anytone. NewPower was disposed in November of 2011.
In November of 2010, the Company acquired its fourth subsidiary, Shenzhen Kim Fai Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Kim Fai engaged in producing solar panels and solar-related products which could be sold to those construction and installation companies who need these products to integrated into their projects. Through this acquisition, the Company expanded its products offering by combining solar technology with the Company's original lithium ion battery technology.
