We believe in fresh food you can eat every day. We believe in reasonable portions, and reasonable prices. We believe in buying local and supporting local farms and food businesses. 

We believe in making our sauces and soups and salads from scratch - no weird stuff, no funny business.

We believe that you are a friend who we just have not met yet, and we are looking forward to getting to know you.

Many people point to their ethnic heritage for culinary inspiration and experience. This Jersey Girl says "Growing up in New Jersey we had the best of all culinary worlds. In New Jersey's suburbs you can you get awesome Italian, fabulous Indian, authentic Thai, and spectacular Polish foods all within a 10 mile radius." 

Chef Kathy started Madeline's Table personal chef service in 2004 out of a desire to bring real food to the busy families of central New Jersey. 
The personal chef service grew into a catering business and the catering business grew into Jersey Girl Cafe.

Kathy, and her team, uses healthy cooking techniques in combination with fresh, seasonal ingredients to prepare dishes that are balanced, flavorful, and affordable, with a gourmet twist.
