We ended up choosing protect america. The service is wireless with 15 sensors and we pay $32 a month no thermostat or video but there is a remote and app which I can use to arm/disarm.. The service seems fine and the app works most of the time, sometimes there is an offline error. I need to check my credit card every month since they will overcharge from time to time even though we're in a 3 year contract. Also then they are rude when I call. I was going to go with simplisafe but changed my mind last minute when protect america dropped their 59.99 fee to the 31.99 we pay now. So overall I would not recommend protect america we will change after our contract is over.
