Who we are
BJL is a communications agency, creatively-focused and commercially-aware. We opened our doors in 1987 with a simple, very clear philosophy - to make an impact for clients. We aim to do this every day through creativity.
According to the IPA, creatively awarded campaigns are twelve times more effective. So we’re very proud to have been the most awarded agency outside of London for three out of the last four years. Clients choose us because of one thing – our creativity sells.
You’ll find us in Manchester and at our new home in London, providing closer proximity to clients throughout the UK. Globally, we are members of Tribe Global, a group including more than twenty independently-owned agencies.
Our independence means we can be nimble and adapt quickly to industry developments – investing in areas that will benefit clients. For the most part, this means the best talent in the industry – we have an uncompromising recruitment policy and employ over eighty skilled people in brand strategy, advertising, design, digital and PR. BJL is a Top 50 agency (Campaign Magazine) and we contribute to the broader communications industry through membership of IPA, BIMA and DMA.
