Our Beginnings
Total Office Planning Services, Inc. (TOPS) was founded in 1985 by Mr. Jim Fenimore and Mr. Frank Sapienza. In its first full year of business, TOPS performed installation services valued at $2 million. To date, the company has been responsible for installation projects valued in excess of $250 million.
Our Facilities
The TOPS corporate office occupies 5,000 square feet conveniently located at 134 West 29th Street in New York City. Our well-staffed 115,000-square-foot warehouse at 333 Starke Road in Carlstadt, New Jersey, is the hub for the receiving, delivery, storage and asset management services we provide to clients throughout the tri-state area..
Our Trucks, Equipment and Tools
We manage our own fleet of trucks and maintain ample supplies of building protection materials and material handling equipment, including 250 panel carts, 100 glass carts and 20 gang boxes. The company has invested more than $200,000 in specialty tools.
Our Staff
TOPS' team of highly trained professionals includes 14 project managers and four field supervisors. The company employs 140 workers, including installers, movers and woodworking specialists.
