So where should I begin?

I am a social media strategist, speaker and digital marketing specialist, the Chief Experience Officer ofImagine WOW, a digital marketing agency and the author of “How to Use Social Media to Virtually Crush the Competition.”

But that’s just a bunch of fancy titles.

Who I really am is a wife, a mother, a coffee enthusiast, runner, sunshine lover and a girl who is completely nuts about her two pups.

I currently reside in Los Angeles, California and am one of those elusive, never-heard of native Californians.

I absolutely love the life I get to live and share with my husband, and best friend Dean.

My son and step-son are both grown and off pursuing their passions which leaves Dean and I in an exciting stage of our lives as “empty nesters.”

Well, empty minus the two teeny loves of our lives – our chihuahua’s Rolo and Brinkley.

I started my first blog  in 2005 and my first business when I was eight years old.

In fact, I have been an entrepreneur for as long as I can remember.

My Entrepreneurial Roots

Growing up in Southern California, I was fortunate to be surrounded by fruit trees.

My childhood home was replete with everything from orange and grapefruit trees to avocado, tangerine and peaches.

With a large school within a block of my home, afternoon traffic down my street could be rather busy.

I quickly determined that the amount of fruit we grew was far more than we would ever eat in our household.

So, with nothing more than a folding table and a handwritten sign, I started my very own fruit stand.

Each day I stood outside as school traffic filtered by, selling my little heart out.

What began as a way to make a few extra dollars, soon became a booming business. It also lit the entrepreneur fire within me that still burns bright today.

I have found that as as someone active within the online and social media space, it is increasingly difficult to handle all of the tasks required to manage and run a thriving business.

It is this “juggling act” of daily responsibilities that I believe all business owners and entrepreneurs struggle with every day.

Throughout the years, I found myself often wondering, “isn’t there an easier way to manage my day, my time,  my to-do list, and stay active within social media?”  I suspect you have too.

It’s those exciting topics that I am eager to explore.  I look forward to sharing all the bumps, bruises and war stories that have brought me to where I am today and hearing your insight and feedback as we make this journey together!

More About My Business

As someone that manages social media on a daily basis, I recognize how difficult attracting new business can be in the digital era. For many small to mid-size businesses, this is due to the lack of an online strategy, poorly executed campaigns and little to no online footprint.

I work to assist business owners with their online marketing plan, helping them capitalize on the power of an integrated social media campaign in a specific and strategic way.

I have trained thousands of business professionals on how to use social media strategically, allowing them to maximize, prioritize and monetize their online efforts.

I have worked with Fortune 500 organizations as well as entrepreneurs, helping each one build winning teams, brands and businesses.

I have headed social media campaigns for companies such as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, including a comprehensive marketing plan that spanned multiple social channels over an extended period of time.

I was recently voted for the second year in a row a “Top 100 Social Media and Technology Leader” by Inman News and one of the Top 40 Social Media Professionals of 2013.

I have been actively involved in the marketing industry for over 18 years and am eager to put my experience, innovative ideas and keen sense of “what works,” to work for you!
