About Willis Candle Shop
Founded in January 2024 by a former U.S. Marine and retired FBI Special Agent, The Willis Candle Shop brings forensic-level precision and military-grade integrity to the art of home fragrance. What began in a family garage has evolved into a 17x32-foot metal production studio in Willis, Texas, where we hand-pour premium coconut, soy, and beeswax blends into elegant glass and metal vessels. We offer a curated collection of 20 unique candle options and 16 distinct fragrance oils, featuring customizable wick configurations that include varied wood-wick thicknesses and single, double, or triple cotton-wick designs. Our eco-friendly mission is defined by what we leave out, strictly excluding paraffin, petroleum byproducts, and essential oils to ensure every burn is non-toxic, phthalate-free, paraben-free, and has zero volatile organic compounds emissions.
At the heart of our business is a commitment to radical transparency, guided by our signature motto: Our candle label doesn't just tell you what's inside the candle, it also tells you what is not inside the candle! We set ourselves apart by educating our customers on the ""weight truth,"" clearly listing the actual wax weight in both grams and ounces rather than just the container volume. For instance, we openly share that our 16 oz mug jar holds exactly 12.5 oz of wax, while our 10 oz black tin holds 8.5 oz, accounting for the natural porosity of the wax and the space required for lids and wicks. This honest approach ensures our customers know exactly what they are purchasing without the misleading marketing common in the industry.
